Environmental responsibility has been on the agenda of AWA COUVERT from the very start. Early on, in the late 1980's, we set standards in this area with our own Öko-COUVERTiC® products featuring environmentally friendly, chlorine-free bleached paper, windows made of chlorine-free glassine and use of eco-friendly natural adhesive. |

packaging and FSC Chain of Custody (CoC) certification for envelopes made of environmentally friendly paper and adhesives. AWA products made of recycling paper carry the "Blue Angel" ("Blauer Engel") label because they comply with the guidelines of the Jury Umweltzeichen for certification. A current innovation in the area of environmental protection is our awabloc®, a patented transport and packaging system devised by us. It consists completely of cardboard, reduces packaging volumes considerably by virtue of its compactness, reduces the amount of warehouse space needed and makes for sustained reduction of the fire load produced by companies - yet another example of how AWA COUVERT fulfills its environmental responsibility. |
